A good-looking pair of floor-standing globes in the manner of the famous Venetian maker Vincenzo Coronelli. On their floor-standing bases the overall height is 46.5", 118 cm, but the globes in their cradles can sit on a desk or a table and then their overall height is 27.5", 70 cm. Two good-looking pieces, suitable for any scientist's or gentleman's study, from the mid-17th century onwards.
